Looking for a good winter recipe that warms you up, tastes great and is dead easy to throw together? Well if you are this is the one for you.
Serves 4.
8 thick beef sausages
1 large onion
3 large potatoes
1 level tablespoon (the ones you eat your breakfast with) curry powder
2 tablespoons cornflour
Salt & pepper
Olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1. Chop sausages up into medium sized pieces (see second photo above).
2. Cut onion in half and slice (Here's a tip, when cutting onion breath through your mouth & your eyes won't water).
3. In a jug add one and a half cups of cold water and mix the curry powder, cornflour, pinch of salt and pepper until well combined and there's no lumps.
4. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and throw into a pot with enough water to cover them and boil until soft.
4.Throw the sausages and onion into a frying pan with a splash of olive oil and cook until sausages have just browned.
5. Now add the water mixture and over a low heat, stir until the mixture thickens.
6. Drain the water from the potatoes add the butter and mash.
7. Spoon the mash potato onto the plates, and spoon the sausage mix over the top.
8. Now serve it up. Too easy!
