Mad Mick reckons right now you're thinking 'What the...'

Listen, fancy Asian sounding name, damn simple recipe, basically it is mince meat inside a lettuce leaf!

Makes 4 serves.

Ingredients

Vegetable oil
8 medium mushrooms
1 medium red chilli (de-seeded)
400g turkey mince (or chicken mince)
3/4 cup chicken stock
1 white onion
2 tablespoons (the ones you eat your breakfast with) oyster sauce
1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
4 lettuce leaves (try iceberg or cos lettuce)

Method

1. Chop the onion and chilli up finely and set aside. Wipe the mushrooms over with a dry towel, remove the stalks, slice and set aside.
2. Splash some vegetable oil into a wok (or use a frying pan if you don't have a wok) and heat.
3. Put the turkey mince and onion into the wok and cook through until the turkey is just browned.
4. Add the chicken stock, chilli, mushroom, oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce and sugar to the wok and combine well, stirring occasionally.
5. Put a full lettuce leaf onto each of four bowls.
6. When the turkey mince mixture is cooked through, drain excess moisture and spoon a quarter of the mix into each lettuce leaf and serve straight away.
